DemoKit

The DemoKit includes a free trial version of CarMaker, TruckMaker or MotorcycleMaker, which can be run in both the Simulink environment and also as a standalone application:

Simulink virtual vehicle

• Use the software to define open-loop and closed-loop driving maneuvers which are simulated in the Simulink environment
• Add user defined control algorithms.
• Exchange and replace vehicle subsystems (e.g. steering, braking, tires, etc.)
• Define sophisticated testruns and load-cases
• View the simulation in the 3D animation window while the tests are being performed
• Monitor the signals and analyze the test results of simulation

Standalone

Alternatively, run the software as a stand-alone program on your Windows PC and define your own test runs, perform simulations or analyze maneuvers within the virtual vehicle environment.

• Define sophisticated testruns and load-cases
• View the simulation in the 3D animation window while the tests are being performed
• Monitor the signals and analyze the test results.

The CarMaker, TruckMaker and MotorcycleMaker simulation environment includes the premier driver model IPGDriver, the modular and customizable vehicle model IPGCar, and the powerful 3D road simulator IPGRoad. Perform nearly all tasks available with the licensed version. The main limitation is the 6 weeks license expiration, and that some of the more advanced features have been disabled.
