EV Challenge

Virtual EV Challenge

The virtual EV Challenge is an electrifying competition where multiple electric vehicles (EVs) race across virtual Indian roads, covering a long-distance drive to reach their destination.

Collaborate with your fellow students to develop an EV strategy and reach the finish line in the shortest time while consuming the least energy.

  • Strategically select and manage charging stops to optimize your energy usage
  • Select the optimal operating point to maximize powertrain efficiency, considering both the battery and the electric motor

In collaboration with Bosch, we will provide a CarMaker-based simulation environment with preconfigured vehicle powertrain architecture for your EV project, enabling seamless engagement with automotive manufacturers, suppliers, and ecosystem stakeholders (charging stations).

Phases and objectives: The EV Challenge unfolds in three progressive phases, each designed to test the endurance, strategy, and adaptability of competing vehicles and their operators.
