Seamless development methods for software-defined vehicles – Master increasing complexity

In a joint article with TraceTronic, we are looking at seamless development methods for software-defined vehicles. The growing use of electronics and software increases system complexity in vehicles and, at the same time, sources of errors occur more frequently due to ever shorter development cycles. It is thus the aim to establish scalable test environments and to speed up the development of new functionalities.

The article describes how the interplay of virtual vehicle development and tools for the support of agile software development processes were optimized to enable a seamless testing process. Find out why this combination offers the ideal precondition to meet development requirements for highly automated driving functions in every stage of vehicle software development.

Furthermore, it explains how the presented solution addresses the requirements regarding development processes for software-defined vehicles using approved tools, best-practice methods from different development projects and an understanding of modern software development processes.
