With our test system, functions and technical innovations can be experienced in a driving simulator – even if they are still in early design or concept phases. This makes it possible to test the operability and behavior of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and automated driving functions earlier than usual to be able to recognize opportunities for optimization from the very beginning. Combined with simulation, Driver-in-the-Loop enables virtual test driving in realistic, reproducible scenarios, but with real haptic feedback and without high investment costs or complex setups.
What is Driver-in-the-Loop?
- Driver-in-the-Loop places a human driver in any CarMaker simulation, from MIL to SIL and HIL tests
- Covers a wide range of setups, whether it is a static simulator, a simple desktop simulator with a USB wheel or even a dynamic simulator to realistically evaluate the driving experience
