Your responsibilities:

• Develop leads within OEMs’ supply chains and service providers to deliver sales of solutions for virtual vehicle development to customers in the UK region

• Understanding the customer's needs and delivering examples of solutions that demonstrate clear capability

• Nurturing and maintaining customer relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction with IPG products and services, acting as a trusted advisor, helping customers achieve their goals

• Create and execute weekly, targeted contact plans for the various customer domains (e.g. vehicle dynamics, ADAS, powertrain)

• Identifying and resolving client concerns; recommending a course of action to alleviate these concerns in the future

• Work directly with the engineering teams to ensure customer project requirements are met

• Remain up to date on IPG products and services. Provide input into IPG marketing and technical sales activities; highlight and inform of priority topics of interest and areas of focus for technical demonstrations

• Monthly sales reporting management to the parent company (forecasting, achievements and market updates)

• Building quotes and contracts for sales opportunities

• Reviewing and approving test licence requests and following these new leads

Your profile:

• Mechanical, automotive, robotics or other related engineering graduate

• This position requires independent problem solving and decision making with only broad direction given on assignments

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in a technical role, preferably automotive

• Sales, marketing experience useful

• Good humoured, proactive personality with high levels of initiative and integrity

• Excellent communication skills

• Willingness to travel nationally when required
