IPG Automotive Japan Celebrates Anniversary Year

10 years ago, the first international subsidiary opened the doors of its office in Tokyo. Today, under the leadership of Managing Director Keisuke Shimizu, the development of this pioneering team is shaped by expertise and close customer relations.
In addition to a dynamic sales team and creative heads in the Marketing team, a strong group of application engineers works in the Tokyo and Nagoya offices. They provide customers with tailored service and support, so that the products of IPG Automotive match the individual needs in an optimal way.

With this efficient teamwork, the team build strong relationships with major Japanese OEMs, tier 1s as well as partners from universities and research institutes. To strengthen and celebrate these relations, IPG Automotive Japan is inviting to an anniversary celebration event under the title “10 Years of Innovation – IPG Automotive Japan” on October 31 in Tokyo. Managing Director Keisuke Shimizu is looking forward to it already: “We are excited to celebrate our anniversary with all those that shaped the journey of our team over the last ten years and will go with us into the future.”

In seven seminars, loyal customers, HONDA, MAZDA, ISUZU, AISIN, and THK will showcase different customer use cases and experts from IPG Automotive will present input on the products. The event will be completed with a key note speech from  Prof. Dr.-Ing. Eric Sax from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), a partners’ exhibition and a lot of room for exchange. With this event, the Japanese team wants to express its gratitude to the different partners and discuss together with its diverse network, how the automotive industry will develop in the future. This event in Tokyo will be an additional highlight in the journey of the first international subsidiary of IPG Automotive.

However, the anniversary event is not the only big event in Japan that IPG Automotive is looking forward to in 2024. In May, the team will show their expertise at the Automotive Engineering Exposition in Yokohama.  The three day exhibition starting May 22 in the south of Japan expects around 500 exhibitors and more than 60,000 visitors. IPG Automotive Japan will present itself to this enormous audience as solution provider for every stage of vehicle development – from model-in-the-loop to software-in-the-loop and hardware-in-the-loop to vehicle-in-the-loop.

We are excited where the journey of IPG Automotive Japan will take us. We are saying Arigato (ありがとう) (Thank you) for your hard work and wish you all the best for the years to come.

Managing Director Keisuke Shimizu leads a pioneering team with excellent customer relations and a great skill set.
